We’re pleased to share some more news from our artists.

Angela Bacon Kidwell has two solo shows this summer. The first is at Afterimage Gallery in Dallas. The show runs from August 7 through September 21, with an artist reception on August 7, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The second is at Galerie BMG in Woodstock, NY. The opening for that exhibition is August 14th, with artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m.

Next, Andy Adams (of Flak Photo magazine) has collaborated with Carl Corey to present some of Carl’s Wisconsin Tavern League images in Wisconsin People and Ideas Magazine. The magazine is published this month, but you can get a preview of the article on Andy’s website here.

And, as they say, last but not least, Aline Smithson is part of a group show, “The Naked Truth West — LA”, curated by Ruben Natal-San Miguel, at the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood. The show opened on July 22, but continues until September 23, 2010. Aline is also the subject of an article in a French magazine (pdf).
